Livingroom

One of the easiest ways to decorate for fall is to change the accent pillows and throw blankets. You can find beautiful options at Target, Home Goods, Marshalls and Macy’s, or if you prefer not to leave the comfort of your home, our favorite places to look online are Amazon, Birchlane, Joss & Main, Wayfair and Etsy. Once you’ve got these new items, you are well on your way to getting your home cozier for autumn.

Dining room

Create a fall centerpiece. A good centerpiece can make or break the look of your table, so be creative and careful at the same time. Depending on your style, you might prefer to use a more neutral color palette or more earth tones like deep browns, oranges, greens and mustards. After picking your preferred color palette, start designing the perfect centerpiece. Get a Eucalyptus garland, mini pumpkins, some pine cones, twigs and candles. If you are using richer hues, you can even incorporate sunflowers. If you need some inspiration, have a look at Pinterest, the beautiful designs will blow you away!

Decorating your kitchen

Kitchen decor can be simple and does not need to be complicated. Fall is all about nature so use natural materials, plants and vegetables to decorate. For example, bring out a wood board, white pumpkins, candle holders and a vase with a bunch of dried ruskus. Some autumn tea towels or fall signage are other good ideas. Details make the style but don’t feel you need to overdo on colors or bring extra pieces, the kitchen should be the most simple as it still needs to be functional.

Decorating your entry

The entry to your home is the most important to welcome guests so get those fall vibes flowing! A fall wreath along with some lanterns and pumpkins is a great way to start. Perhaps, in a hallway, add a basket with a throw blanket and some fall pillows. Add in an extra touch with some pumpkin spice-scented candles and you’ll feel all of that autumn goodness come alive around you. To finish off the look, add a basket of cozy slippers by the door for guests to wear if they are feeling chilly.
